Mini Cakes

So, here’s a unique idea for very small celebrations or just because. Mini Cakes! These are about the equivalent of 2 cupcakes and can be decorated in any imaginable way! These were done over the summer, but imagine the possibilities for fall and Christmas coming up! I can’t wait to make some and post them here!

Love is in the air! Wedding season!

At any time of the year, your wedding is an extraordinary event and should be celebrated. We are very conscientious of the bride’s desires when it comes to our wedding cakes and other goodies. Not only will we find out what she does want, but we’ll make sure we know what she doesn’t want – especially if we are given greater creative license.

Cakes are available in many shapes and sizes. Pictured here are just a few options – let your imagination run wild! Find something you like on the internet or in a magazine? Email or bring a picture and we’ll duplicate it for you!

Cupcakes are an up and coming trend to have at weddings. Have a small cutting cake and/or an anniversary tier and individual cupcakes for your guests and save the cake-cutting fee charged by the venue.

Cookies or cake pops make fun take-home treats for your guests. They can be individually packaged and tagged with your special day’s details.

Mother’s Day!

Celebrate mom’s special day with a special treat! Choose mom’s favourite blossom or colours and we’ll custom design a cake or use a design that you’ve found to help you put a smile on mom’s face!

Check back often as pictures will be added to give you different ideas.

Now available! Chocolate Gluten-Free Cake!

This delicious moist chocolate cake has a fudgy brownie taste and is absolutely scrumptious!

**Although the recipe is gluten-free, I cannot guarantee that it has not come in contact with gluten. This would be a perfect cake for those who are gluten-intolerant or are striving to reduce their gluten intake,

but I would not recommend it for those with serious gluten-related illnesses.

Easter is just around the corner!

Whether your family does an egg hunt, chocolate treats and/or traditional Easter celebrations, special goodies are sure to be a big hit!

Think egg-shaped cakes or cake pops. Bunny cakes or crosses. Cupcakes with lovely spring flowers or cakes made into lovely spring gardens.

There are lots of options to choose from to make your celebration a little bit sweeter!

So, my daughter and I went to see the Lorax. We both enjoyed the cute movie, but I was inspired by the movie poster. If you’re having a birthday party at the movie theater, why not have cake or cupcakes to match?

Lincoln Alexander’s 90th Birthday

It was an honour and privilege to be chosen to provide the birthday cake for Lincoln Alexander’s 90th birthday party, hosted by the Burlington Teen Tour Band Boosters! My cake was even mentioned in some articles about the party!

See the Snap article here:

Unless they have corrected it by now, this article does incorrectly state that I am from Liaison College – I most definitely am not, and they promised to fix it!
